Keep Praying!

How is life going? I believe now that “life happens for us” instead of to us, based on some Tony Robbins instruction I received over the last few months. And therefore, I pray that God keeps growing me.

God speaks to us through the writer in the Bible in the book of Proverbs 12 verse 25, “Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but a good word cheers it up.” Would you like a little cheer? Jesus tells us himself in the book of Matthew 11 verse 28 “Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” So what are you waiting for in your day to day life if you have some anxiety and are a bit weary? By sharing a good word or coming to where rest if given, you too can experience cheer and overcome your wearisome burdens from you day. So how does this work? - you may ask.

Speak up to God, the almighty creator of the heavens. Prayer. Yes. God listens and answers. Your aim is therefore to keep in touch and hence keep praying. The Apostle Paul speaks encouraging words to the church in Thessalonica when he writes in 1st Thessalonians 5 verses 16-18 “Rejoice always! Pray constantly. Give thanks in everything, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.”
